The annual marathon organized by the Boston Athletic Association (BAA), has always been a big draw. In spite of the bomb blast in 2013 and the negative publicity surrounding the event, the turnout at the 2014 Boston Marathon has proven that nothing can cripple the spirit of the city’s residents.
The upcoming Boston Marathon 2015 marathon will mark the 119th year of the prestigious BAA event which is expected to be held on 20th April, 2015. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts also celebrates The Patriot’s Day on this day.
